Last October, in order to implement the provisions of Article 49 of the Suggestions on Implementation of the Outline Development Plan for the GBA issued by the Guangdong Provincial Government, which stipulates that "establish international commercial mediation center which covers international commercial mediation services and foreign law ascertainment services". With the strong support from the Justice Bureau of Shenzhen Municipality, BCI & BIMC expanded its service to the realm of mediation, with international commercial mediation as its main focus, striving to build an international commercial mediation center featured for international commercial mediation and foreign law ascertainment. BCI & BIMC appointed the first batch of 55 mediators from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, United States, Japan, Egypt, South Korea, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, Australia, Russia and other countries and regions.
