On July 7, 2019, more than thirty lawyers practicing in foreign-related areas from Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Dongguan and other cities in Guangdong signed up for the interview organized by BCI & BIMC, which aims to select participants for the 2019 Guangdong Province International Legal Professionals Training Program (the Program) that will be held in Hong Kong.
The Program served as a vital measure to meet the need for lawyers capable of practicing in foreign-related legal areas in the context of the opening up strategy in Guangdong. Meanwhile, BCI & BIMC shouldered the responsibility of planning and organizing this program.
The Program's interview selection process, in the form of English communication, aimed to evaluate candidates' legal English proficiency, foreign-related legal expertise, practical experience, and capacity of quick responses. Candidate lawyers with outstanding performance will gain the opportunity to attend this week-long study and exchange program in early August in Hong Kong.
