On July 24, Legislative Affairs Office of People's Government of Guangdong Province, Guangdong Lawyers Association, BCI & BIMC (formerly known as BCI) and Lan Hai Institute held a signing ceremony for the cooperation framework agreement between the parties at the Department of Justice of Guangdong Province. Mr. Lu Ruisheng, deputy director of Legislative Affairs Office of People's Government of Guangdong Province, Mr. Xiao Shengfang, president of Guangdong Lawyers Association, Mr. Li Leiming, BCI & BIMC's Vice-president of Council, and Ms. Zeng Qiuhong, Assistant to the President of Lan Hai Institute, signed the cooperation framework agreement on behalf of each party to the agreement. It is stressed in the agreement that all parties will strengthen their cooperation in the areas of law ascertainment, legal research, legal exchanges and training.
Dr. Xiao Jingyi, BCI & BIMC's Executive President of Council, Ms. Deng Jie, Deputy Secretary-general of Guangdong Lawyers Association, and Mr. Lu Ruisheng, all made a statement respectively, promising that they will actively foster their cooperation and realize a mutually benefiting and win-win situation, as well as make every effort to promote the reform and development of the judicial administration in Guangdong province to a great new level.
