On the morning of October 14, BCI & BIMC group led by Dr. Xiao Jingyi, BCI & BIMC's Executive President of Council, and Andy See, Senior Consultant of BCI & BIMC, visited the First Foreign-related Civil and Commercial Court of Hainan, in the company of PI Xiuyan, Member of Adjudication Committee of High Court of Hainan Province, Liu Jia, Member of the Leading Party Members' Group and Vice-president of the First Intermediate People's Court of Hainan Province.
Dr. Xiao Jingyi and the group visited the Smart Cloud Cabinet System, Family Court, Psychological Counseling Room, Rule of Law Culture Promenade, Court History Museum, and the Litigation Service Center, Technology Court, Online Mediation Area, and Simultaneous Interpretation Room, at the First Foreign Civil and Commercial Court of Hainan Province.
During the talk, Dr. Xiao Jingyi introduced that BCI & BIMC, as the base of the Supreme People's Court of China for Discerning Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Foreign Law, has played a positive role in aspects such as legislation, justice, administrative reform, and helping domestic enterprises "go global". She also demonstrated the multiple functions of BCI & BIMC's foreign law ascertainment platform and the method to implement it on the spot.
Participants also exchanged their views on ways of future cooperation, the expansion of the scope of foreign law ascertainment services, and the connection between alternative dispute resolution platforms, and had expressed mutual intentions to cooperate.
