Recently, the Moot Court of the 2019 Common Law Adjudication Principles Conference was successfully held in Shenzhen. Lawyers from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) introduced the Hong Kong legal system to the participants mainly by way of simulating the trial process at Hong Kong courts. More than 150 people from court systems in Mainland China participated in this event.
The Common Law Adjudication Principles Conference is a series of legal and cultural exchange activities between Guangdong and Hong Kong. It is hosted by Guangdong High People's Court, the Department of Justice of the Government of HKSAR, and the Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court, and it exemplifies the implementation of the Framework Arrangement for the Legal Exchange and Mutual Recognition of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, signed by Guangdong High People's Court and the Department of Justice of the Government of HKSAR.
